PRESERVING OUR LEGACY AS
AN “ELITE” PART OF
CARRIER AVIATION ASW
ENLISTED NAVAL AIRCREWMAN!
The Viking SENSO Association (VSA) is a national 501(c) (19) Veteran’s non-profit dedicated to the roughly 2500 AWs that sat in the left aft seat of the Lockheed S-3 Viking or flew in the S-2 Tracker.
Who We Are
-
Providing a resource of unity for anyone who shares an interest in preserving the history and legacy of the men and women who have served as Sensor Operators in the Lockheed S-3 Viking or Grumman S-2 Tracker aircraft.
-
Reuniting Viking SENSO veterans restores purpose and honor to the fallen. Together we preserve their legacy, support one another, and keep their sacrifices alive through collective actions and shared memories.
-
If you ever strapped into the left aft seat of the S-3 Viking, stood the acoustic watch, dropped sonobuoys, ran the MAD boom, or answered “SENSO” on the ICS, this is your association!

Reunion Committee
Through annual reunions, memorial activities, historical documentation, and fellowship, we keep alive the bonds forged in the ready rooms, on the flight decks, and in the AW shops.
Working closely with the Board is the Reunion Committee, a hardworking group of volunteers responsible for planning and executing our national reunions. Their efforts ensure our reunions remain memorable gatherings that strengthen old friendships and welcome new members.
Together, the Board and Reunion Committee are committed to growing the association, honoring our fallen Viking SENSOs, and securing their legacy for future generations.
